Privacy Policy of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology
The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology attaches particular importance to respecting the privacy of users visiting the biznes.gov.pl and ceidg.gov.pl websites. We are committed to ensuring that each user knows exactly what data we obtain and how the users can protect their privacy.

- By using the biznes.gov.pl website, you accept the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy.
- The collected data are transmitted in two ways. This is information provided directly and voluntarily by the user, e.g. in contact forms and when registering on biznes.gov.pl (e.g. when asking a question in the Entrepreneur Assistance Centre). We also acquire information when users use the site. The servers automatically record data, such as:
- the time that it takes for the server to send a response,
- IP address of the user’s device,
- the user’s request (the address of the page that the user has entered)
- the address of the “referer link” in the event that the portal page was accessed through a link,
- information about the version of the user’s web browser (the browser of web pages),
- information about the version of the user’s operating system,
- cookies.
- Cookies are small text files sent to the internet user’s device by the website that the internet user visits. We use cookies to make it easier for the users to use the site and to create site statistics.
- Each user can individualize their cookie settings in the browser. Failure to change these settings implies acceptance of the cookies in use.
- Most web browsers allow cookies to be stored on the user’s computer by default. However, internet users can manage cookies themselves, as well as block them. The user only needs to select the option to reject them in the browser. It should be kept in mind, though, that if this option is selected, some features of the site may not work properly.
- Our service uses:
- cookies in order to maintain the user’s session ID in them (the data of the session are stored on the server and are not sent to the user’s browser),

- When you contact us via the contact form of the Entrepreneur Assistance Centre, you provide us with your personal information, e.g. name, surname, company/institution, email address, etc.
- Personal data (name, surname, email address) indicated in the selected forms and collected through them are for contact purposes only.
- The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology makes every effort to protect the data collected on the website biznes.gov.pl from unauthorized access by third parties and to control the information processing methods. Among other things, we use a firewall and server security devices. We grant access to data only to those employees and entities that need to have access to them in order to process them exclusively for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
CEIDG.gov.pl
- By using the ceidg.gov.pl website you accept the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy.
- The collected data are transmitted in two ways. This is information provided directly and voluntarily by the user, e.g. in contact forms and when registering in the system (e.g. when asking a question in the Entrepreneur Assistance Centre or filling out the CEIDG-1 application).
- As a matter of practice, we store HTTP requests directed to our server. The viewed resources are identified by URLs. The list of information automatically recorded and stored in the web server log files acquired during the user’s use of the site is as follows:
- the time that it takes for the server to send a response,
- IP address of the user’s device,
- the user’s request (the address of the page that the user has entered),
- URL address of the page previously visited by the user, the so-called “referer link” in the event that the page of the website was accessed through a link,
- information about the version of the user’s web browser (the browser of web pages),
- information about the version of the user’s operating system,
- cookies.
- If the website contains links to other websites, we recommend that you read the privacy policies of these sites.

- We use the data obtained via the contact form of the Entrepreneur Assistance Centre, such as name, surname, company name, email address, etc. for contact purposes only.
- In addition, the Entrepreneur Assistance Centre system processes the following data:
- IP number,
- flash plug-in version,
- web browser,
- operating system,
- the page where the Entrepreneur Assistance Centre module was opened.
- The above data are used to provide support to users in the event of technical problems related to the use of our site.

Among other things, we use a firewall and server security devices. We only grant access to data to employees authorized to administer the server and to entities that need to have access to them in order to process them exclusively for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to change the above Privacy Policy by publishing a new version on the biznes.gov.pl website
Information on personal data processing
In order to implement the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, RODO), this is to inform you how we process your (hereinafter: User) personal data on biznes.gov.pl and ceidg.gov.pl websites and what are your related rights.

- Personal data will be processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR (RODO), i.e. the fulfillment of the Data Controller’s legal obligation pursuant to the Act of 6 March 2018 on the Central Registration and Information on Business and the Entrepreneur Information Point, hereinafter referred to as the “Act”.
- The personal data of registered Users are processed for the purpose of carrying out the tasks of the Central Registration and Information on Business and the Entrepreneur Information Point described in the Act, including for the purpose of informing about important events, deadlines and obligations related to the undertaken or conducted business activity.
- Personal data will not be used for purposes other than those for which they were originally collected.
- The User has the right to access, rectify and restrict the processing of their personal data.
- If there is a suspicion that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of GDPR (RODO), the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
- The data of the User of the Entrepreneur Information Point will be made available by the Data Controller (to the extent specified in the User’s profile) to the authorities responsible for the implementation of services launched by the User in the form of a service provided electronically.
- Decisions with respect to the User will not be made by automated means.
- Personal data of entrepreneurs will be deleted after 10 years from the date of deletion of entrepreneurs from CEIDG, pursuant to Article 49(2) of the Act.
- Personal data of natural persons submitting an application to CEIDG with information about not undertaking business activity will be deleted after 10 years from the date of submission of the application, pursuant to Article 49(3) of the Act.
- Personal data of proxies and attorneys will be stored until the date of termination of their publication in CEIDG pursuant to Article 39(8) of the Act.
- The Entrepreneur Information Point stores and processes documents and personal data of the Users for a period of 10 years from the date of their entry into the ICT system. This period may be longer if the User to whom the data relate gives their consent.
- The provision of data is voluntary; however, the data must be provided in order to fulfil the purposes specified in section 5.
